Parental volunteers on the Executive Committee

20 October 2012

The Executive Committee decides the direction in which the group – Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers – should be heading. Each section is represented on this committee by a leader and a volunteer parent with a child in that section. Parent volunteers are essential to make sure that the group’s priorities are in line with those of the general community and to provide direction and guidance to the leaders.

The time commitment for this role is for four meetings per year of up to two hours each.

Could this be a way for you to help the development of the group and support the volunteers who make it happen? Please get in touch via our contact form.
