Can you work with others to form a strategic vision for the future of Scouting in Newnham?
We need someone to chair the committee of the 11th/9th Cambridge Scout Group – to listen to the leaders and help form a strategy for continuing the group’s success in our second century. The committee meets four times a year – one meeting for a couple of hours each term and an annual AGM where we celebrate the achievements of the young people in our care. The chair of that committee is a key role, keeping meetings productive and focussed on meeting our goal of helping young people reach their full potential in life. We’re looking for someone with good team-working skills, able to communicate well and willing to contribute to the strategic vision for the future of the group by making objective decisions based on their own opinions and the views of others.
If you’d like more information about the role, please contact our current chair, John Dutton.
